HYDROPARK "SWIYAGA 2.0"

A riverfront development concept in the Urban Planning Line - a comprehensive reimagining of the territories adjacent to the Sviyaga River. "Swiyaga 2.0" is conceived as a new urban ecology: a continuous public landscape that transforms neglected riverbanks into the city's primary recreational, cultural, and environmental asset.

Urban Strategy

The concept organizes development along the river as a linear sequence of programmed zones - sports facilities, cultural pavilions, ecological wetlands, beach promenades, and public gardens - connected by a continuous pedestrian and cycling network. Built structures are kept low, ensuring the river landscape remains dominant. Architecture defers to hydrology: all structures are designed to accommodate seasonal flood levels without damage.

Environmental Systems

- Riparian ecological restoration: native planting, wetland filtration zones, and fish habitat structures.

- Stormwater management: the park itself functions as the city's primary stormwater buffer, absorbing and filtering runoff before it reaches the river.

- Air quality improvement: urban forest corridors and water features creating measurable microclimate benefits for adjacent residential areas.
