HOUSE BOAT

A private residence in the Aquatic Line - Wizhevsky & Partners' design line for elite residences on the water, where the freedom of maritime mobility meets the permanence and comfort of architecture. House Boat is conceived as a hi-tech floating estate - not a yacht, but a home that happens to rest on water.
Architecture
The vessel is composed as a low, horizontally extended volume with flat roofs, deep overhanging eaves, and full-height glazing on the principal facades. The form language is drawn from the bureau's Hi-Tech Line - clean planes, cantilevered decks, frameless glass - adapted to the structural demands of a marine hull. The result reads as a modern villa set on a floating platform, not a nautical vessel with interiors.
Materials are specified for marine longevity:
- Reinforced marine-grade hull. Double-skin construction for structural integrity and thermal insulation.
- Aluminum alloy superstructure. Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, matte-finished.
- Floor-to-ceiling marine-grade glazing. Laminated safety glass with UV filtration and integrated blinds.
- Composite deck surfaces. Non-slip, weather-resistant, maintenance-free for decades.
BIO-CIRCUIT Systems
Aquatic Line residences integrate the bureau's BIO-CIRCUIT Architecture specification adapted for marine operation:
- Full climate control: heating, cooling, dehumidification calibrated for open-water conditions.
- Medical-grade air filtration eliminating salt, moisture, and particulate from the marine environment.
- Multi-stage water treatment with desalination capability.
- Circadian lighting programmed to maintain biological rhythm regardless of maritime location.
- Off-grid energy: solar arrays, wind turbines, and battery storage for extended autonomous operation.
